Jammu, Aug 28: All India Jat Mahasabha has criticized the state government for what they termed as neglecting of community by the government. According to press release, a meeting was held at Satwari, President Manmohan Singh and other Jat leaders, criticized the way, they in particular were being neglected by the Govt. "Its an open secret to Govt, of the demands of the basic rights of the refugees, mostly the jats, who have been demanding their rights through the democratic process", they said. They further observed that they have been demanding for their rights, the first victims of division of India and Indo-Pak wars of 1947, 1965 & 1971. "All victims are residing on LOC and International Border, and are prone victims of daily ceasefire violation by Pakistan, while these people are virtually doing the work of a concrete wall on our border and are facing head on bullets from Pakistan, being the real nationalistic community of India. But our St.Govts and Central Govts have deceived this community since Independence, have made false promises to settle their genuine issues", they said. |
