| Debate on importance of electoral participation held | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Aug 29: As a part of promotion of electoral process ahead of upcoming assembly elections, today under SVEEP (Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation) a debate cum symposium was held at Girls Higher Secondary School Kishtwar was held under the guidance of Mohammad Javed Khan Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar. Tehsildar Headquarter, nodal officer for SVEEP, Campus Ambassador Tariq Parvaiz Tapel. More than five hundred girls of secondary classes (11th& 12th ) also participated in the program . The debate was held on the topic "Ethical Voting" in which Seven Contestants participated and spoke on the topic. They highlighted the value of vote and right to Vote and Ethical Voting. The contestants spoke one by one with zeal and zest and were applauded by huge gathering.
Tehsildar headquarter Anuradha sensitize the young girls regarding the function of SVEEP & Ethical Voting .The FORM -6 weredistributed among young girls for addition of new eligible voters . The campus Ambassador Tariq Parvaiz explained the students how to fill the form-6 and the importance of being a voter in modern civilization. |
