NC accuses Reshi of land grab at Marhama
Shall quit if allegations proven right'

Srinagar, Aug 29: People's Democratic Party leader Yasir Reshi today said that he will quit politics and even migrate to some other state, if the accusations leveled against him about land grabbing at Marhama Anantnag by National Conference are proven correct. Reshi said that a particular NC leader is using all ways and means to defame him. "If it is proved that I am the party to land grabbing then i will quit politics for good. I appreciate everyone who want through probe into the Marhama land scam but condemn those who left no stone unturned to assassinate and tarnish my character," he said."A particular NC leader has so far failed on every front to corner me. It is the same leader who used his coterie to attack me with bullets. This leader tried to implicate my workers in false drug smuggling case.
These types of accusations that he leveling against me depicts his sheer frustration," he said.Reshi revealed that instead of accusing him and his party, the National Conference leadership should first initiate action against its own minister who according to Reshi has grabbed government land worth crores of rupees. "It's my challenge to Chief Minister that if he would give me a chance, I will prove with documents how one of his ministers has succeeded in grabbing the government land in Friends Enclave at Air Port Raod. It is a fact I have ample proof to prove my claim," he said adding that some NC leaders take pleasure in tarnishing the image of others.
Pertinently, The Legislative AssemblyThursday witnessed pandemonium as a National Conference (NC) legislator Muhammad Akbar Lone alleged that PDP leader Yasir Reshi is party to the multi-crore land scam in Marhama area of Sangam in south Kashmir's Islamabad district.
