Jammu, Aug 29 : The VRS employees today protested outside press club Jammu against the wrong policies of the government for the VRS employees. The protest was led by Dev Raj Bali, President VRS Union Jammu & Kashmir.
Surinder Singh, General heavily criticized the Finance Department of J&K Government, for not releasing our dues besides they have funds and the reasons are beyond our power to understand that why they are harassing the VRS/GHS employees of J&K SRTC.
VRS/GHS employees are struggling and demonstrating for their dues. Cost of living allowance (COLA.)" 16 slabs w.e.f. 1.1.2006, 18 slabs of 2007, 26 siabs of 2008, 35 slabs of 2009 and 31 slabs upto April, 2010 and the total slabs comes to 126 total amount comes to Rs.30,16,10,673.00 including leave salary, gratuity, ex-gratia grant and pending arrears since 1999.
Whereas we were promised and openly proclaimed by the J&K Government, and J&K SRTC management that one who took the VRS/GHS whose dues will be cleared within 6C days but we are struggling for the last 4 years for our dues it clearly shows that we have been cheated. |
