Shaheedi Diwas observed at Samba 8/31/2014 12:33:24 AM Samba, Aug 30: 49th Shaheedi Diwas of Sepoy of 8 JAK Rifle Ami Chand was observed who sacrificed his life in 1965 Indo-Pak war at village Pakhari. On this occasion, around hundreds of people paid him rich tributes and remembered his velour on this day. A religious programme was organized by Guru Swami Jagdeep Giri who preached the gathering with some religious ethos pertaining to the philosophy of God. "Saheeds are the glory of a nation thus it is our duty to remember them and give them respect to teach the next generation the lesson of respect," preached Swami Jagdeep Giri Maharaj.
