UDC demands shifting of garbage dumping station away from town 8/31/2014 10:54:43 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Aug 31: A team of Udhampur Development Council led by its President Anil Paba today toured the garbage dumping station near river Tawi and demanded shifting of the same to a distant place away from the main town. Paba showed concern over the dumping of garbage from Udhampur town in habituated area. He highly criticized the officers of Municipality for their irrational construction of the dumping station near the tawi river as at a short distance there is a water filtering station. He also lashed out at P.H.E department for being mute over this move of municipality.
