JPPF demands conduct of counseling for PM Scholarships at Jammu 8/31/2014 11:10:55 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 31: Jammu Province People's Forum (JPPF) in a meeting took strong notice of the issue pertaining to the 'PM Special Scholarship Scheme' for which the students belonging to Jammu were asked to go to Kashmir for counseling purpose. M S Katoch, the working President said that the students who are interested to seek this opportunity are poor and not very resourceful and therefore it is difficult for them to go to Kashmir for counseling. The govt should have devised a mechanism to hold the counseling here in Jammu for the students of Jammu province so that unnecessary botheration could be avoided adding that we are also of the opinion that even the counseling for the students of Leh/Kargil should have been arranged in their region so that the students are not troubled. He requested the state as well centre govt to mobilize their resources to do the needful in this regard.
