Jammu, Aug 31(JNF) : The high court has stayed the transfer order of a physically challenged Naib-Tehsildar who was sent to other place by the administration within four days of his posting at Mathwar here.
In his petition, Joginder Singh, claiming to be physically handicapped, said he was promoted as naib-tehsildar on August 8, 2014 and was posted as at Mathwar where he was appeared to have joined on the same day. From there, he was again transferred on August 12, 2014 and posted as Naib-Tehsildar at Naria Bambal, Rajouri. Aggrieved by his transfer within four days, he challenged his premature transfer.
High court judge Bansi Lal Bhat, after hearing the two sides, issued notice to the respondents returnable within four weeks and in the meanwhile, stayed the impugned transfer order of the petitioner. |
