| Workshop on Education through Educators' Empowerment | | |  JAMMU, Sept 1: JK Public school today organized a day long workshop in the school auditorium where an eminent educationist S.C. Sabestian, interacted with the students and teachers of JK Public School, Kunjwani. The day began with an inspection of the school. This was followed by an interactive session with the students of the senior wing of the school. Sabestian in his opening address lauded the infrastructure of the school and the facilities available. He told the students to make constructive use of the available facilities. An interactive workshop was organized by Mr. M.C Sabestian for senior students of the school on the topic "Student Leadership and Training (Indian Education v/s International Eduaction)".
The students were enlightened about the qualities of a good leader. He laid stress on quality and not quantity of marks. The students were told to reflect on their intellectual superiority. He told them to have vision and widen their horizon. He stressed that it was important to get above their ego and think on wider spectrum. Praising S.K.Singh, Principal, JK Public School, Kunjwani, he said that he had a fervent desire to excel. He advised the students to stop cramming and apply their knowledge.
Sabestian told the students to follow the maxim of three C's i.e. Compete, Confidence and Communicate. |
