JKCTNGEA demands removal of pay anomalies | | | Srinagar, Sept 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Commercial Taxes Non-Gazetted Employee Association (JKCTNGEA) Jammu Division urged the State Government to remove the pay anomalies of Process Servers of the Department.In a press release the president of the Association Nazir Ahmed Bhat has strongly advocated the removal, saying that the file in question is pending for disposal in the personal section of Minister of, Finance Department J&K Government vide receipt No:-2053 dated, 03.02.2013 duly forwarded by Principal Secretary to Finance vide 3537/PSF, dt:- 02.02.2013. He further disclosed that the file No:-ET/ESTT/150/2010 was sent to Director code vide by Secretary Finance and Director Codes forwarded it to Principal Secretary Finance vide No:- A/67/2010 dt. 02/12/2013. He further said that Process Servers have been subjected to discrimination from last 27 years, as in 1987 they were put in the pay scale of Rs. 800-1500 from 410-700 as equivalent to the pay scale of Head Armed Guard and Head Excise Guard. But the department again in 1991 framed the rules wherein a gross mistake had been made by putting them in the pay scale of 745-1025, which needs immediate and compensate rectification. The case has been recommended by the than Commissioner Commercial Taxes Najamus Saqib vide No:- 1-STC/385- 86/Adm, Dated:- 28.05.1999.The matter was also brought in the notice of Chief Ministers grievance cell vide complaint No:- 42929 dt. 05.09.2013, but nothing have been done till date. Which was again reminded vide No:-43812, dated:- 14.01.2014. |
