Pak turmoil embarrasses separatists | | | Shakeel A Khan SRINAGAR, Sept 1: The political uncertainty in Pakistan and the tough stand adopted by the 'Modi Sarkar' is going to have a negative impact as far as the separatists are concerned. The kind of mind that prevails on the Pakistani people, who committed the shameful acts of ransacking the high profile offices, is for sure to make the valleyties to believe that Pakistan is no better place on the earth to live in. The happenings in the neighboring country will cause a good shadow in the coming Assembly elections. The ugly turn around in Pakistan is going to erase if not expunge the memories of the separatists from the minds of the people of the state especially from the ones who are from the Kashmir Valley. These happenings are enough to end the role of the separatists. "Watching as to what is happening in the capital of the nuclear power has made every person to bow his head in shame. The lush green capital of Pakistan presents a look of a war torn territory where one can find the unruly mob in every good office like the flood water," Mohammad Waseem from Srinagar, while talking to Early Times. It appears, as Waseem says that Pakistan is the country which is all about the uncertainty, where the vested interests will never give peace a chance. As per Waseem, Kashmiris were misled as far as the Pakistan as a country is concerned which has proved a failure because its leadership instead caring for the people creates problems for them. The experts are of the opinion that given the tough stand of the central government towards the separatists and the discouraging events that are taking place inside Pakistan, is going to dislodge the people who have serious ideological differences with the union of India. On account of these developments, the separatists find themselves in a position where they have nothing to explore now. "As the Modi government tightened the screws, Geelani immediately felt a need for the unity which he has been denying for the years now as he heavily relied on Pakistan. But now as it seems that Pakistan is on the verge of collapse, Geelani has preferred not to talk in this kind of situation because people now can decide what is good and what is bad," said Salamu Din from Budgam, who was talked to by the Early Times. Come what may happen in the coming days, as the experts believe, people of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly from the Valley will surely change at heart thinking how a country like Pakistan take care of them when it has failed to take care of its own people. |
