27 left for Hajj pilgrimage from Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Sept 1: Twenty Seven person including 17 males and 12 females left for Srinagar today from Kishtwar early morning for onwards journey to Saudi Arabia for annual Hajj pilgrimage 2014.
Large number of people including relatives of the Hajj pilgrims assembled inside the premises of Islamia School Kishtwar from where SSP Kishtwar Sanjay Kotwal along with officials of District Administration Kishtwar flag them off for onwards journey.
On this occasion, the religious sermon was also given by the religious scholars highlighted the importance of Hajj pilgrimage in Islam. People also sung Naths (Religious prayers) on this occasion. Police and administration has also put elaborated security arrangements to thwart any untoward incident from nefarious elements. Earlier 5 pilgrims left for Hajj pilgrimage on 27th of last month.
