Jammu, Sept 2: President of India, Pranab Mukherjee today completed his two day official state visit and flew back to the national capital. According to official spokesperson, President of India was seen off at the airport by Governor NN Vohra, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Sham Lal Sharma, Minister of State for Home Sajjad Kitchloo, Chief Secretary Mohammad Iqbal Khandey, Director General of Police K. Rajendra, and Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shantmanu.
During his his maiden visit to the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir, the President attended 14th convocation of Jammu University as chief guest on Sept 1 and also visited the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine on Tuesday. |
