Not Omar, BJP talking Nonsense: Kamaal
Kashmir itself a 'country' party to disputes

Modi backtracking from Vajpayee's Commitments

srinagar, Sept 2: Lashing hard on Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Kashmir said that Omar Abdullah is appeasing separatists by poking nose in Indi-Pakistan talks, additional general secretary of National Conference (NC) made a controversial statement by saying that Kashmir itself being a 'country' is party to dispute and BJP is talking nonsense.
Dr Mustafa Kamaal while talking to Early Times said that 'Omar is absolutely right in what he said in context of calling off talks with Pakistan, and added that Jammu and Kashmir is one of party to dispute of Jammu and Kashmir and other party is Pakistan.' "Kashmir is itself a country and party to dispute which was made party to dispute by India itself after Britishers left India, India by going to United Nations for resolution of Kashmir issue made Kashmir a party to dispute and ultimately became country so the Chief Minister has every right to talk on this crucial issue every time," said additional general secretary of NC, Mustafa Kamaal while reacting on BJP statement that Omar is appeasing separatists.
Kamaal said it is BJP which allows separatists to visit Pakistan, provides them visa, allows Mirwaiz to attend OIC conferences abroad, and added that calling off talks with Pakistan was never a bold step but instead an attempt of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leadership to back track from the commitment of former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee who went to Pakistan in bus, extended talks with them to resolve Kashmir issue.
"BJP Kashmir wing is a sponsored wing of money agencies operating from outside Kashmir which has nothing to do with political process of Kashmir, they only mean and that money in abundance is coming for them from outside Kashmir," said Kamaal. Pertinently Kamaal's statement came at a time after BJP yesterday hit back at the Chief minister, Omar Abdullah for questioning New Delhi's decision to call off the talks with Pakistan. BJP's Kashmir wing spokesman Khalid Jehangir said that 'Omar is playing to the galleries ahead of the Assembly elections, he knows his report card is zero and is indulging in rhetoric to gain sympathy, and added that Omar should focus on local issues rather than "poking his nose" in the foreign policy of the country.
He also said that Omar is trying to appease separatists ahead of Assembly polls to get the political mileage and added that "the new government led by Narendra Modi took a bold decision by calling off the talks with Pakistan and everyone has appreciated it."
