Shastri along with hundreds of BJP activists joins JKNPP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 14 : Expressing warm admiration of the NPP's ideology Pandit Ghanshyam Sharma Shastri of Bishnah along with several prominent leaders and hundreds of BJP activists today joined Panthers Party in the benign presence of Chairman JKNPP and MLA Harsh Dev Singh, President JKNPP and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia and General Secy JKNPP and MLA Yashpal Kundal and other senior leaders in a grandeur ceremony hosted at the Party head quarters. Pandit Ghanshyam Sharma applauded the contribution of the Chief Patron NPP Prof.Bhim Singh for the people of Jammu Pradesh and extolled the achievements of Harsh Dev Singh in the field of education when he was a Minister of Education during his tenure. Adding that it was only Panthers party which rose on the occasion and ironically no BJP legislator stood up to represent the plight and miseries of the people. Harsh Dev Singh while welcoming the BJP leader and the activists in the party fold highlighted the attainments and credentials of Panthers party. He said that NPP is the only party of Jammu Pradesh which has been fighting against the discrimination meted out to Jammu region since the time of inception. He exhorted the gathering to support the party and Ghanshyam Sharma in the forthcoming Assembly elections for the transparent and accountable governace. He urged the people to reject the treacherous BJP and adopt and support the ideology and dogma of Panthers Party. “We together can bring a paradigm change in the political discourse of J&K if we stand united and work selflessly for fulfilling the aspirations of the people of the state.We also stand by the people of Jammu Pradesh in rehabilitating them at the time of ensuing crisis where an incessant rains and deluge has wrecked havoc and washed away many homes and precious lives", Harsh Dev said. |
