BJP criticizes state Govt for ignoring Rajouri-Poonch in relief distribution | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Sept 14: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) today criticized ruling government for adopting discriminatory attitude towards Rajour and Poonch districts in this need of hour. According to press release, BJP State Vice President Advocate Vibodh Gupta and District President Bharat Bhushan Vaid conducted tour of different villages and areas which were badly affected due to the recent rains and floods across the Rajouri district. Speaking on the occasion, Vibodh lambasted CM and its Cabinet ministers for ignoring the people of twin border districts who are still crying for help from the present government. "One can understand that the situation is proving to be grim with each passing day in Kashmir Valley but still CM must tour these twin districts to access the losses being occurred but sorry state of affairs is that not even a single Cabinet Minister neither from Jammu nor from Kashmir bothered to visit these people who are in dire need of help for last more than 12 days", Vibodh asserted. He further said that in absence of communication system and due to tough terrain some areas were still inaccessible for administration and media where nature had shown its cruel face more when compared with parts of the State. "There is total administrative failure in the district due to lack of coordination among government officials in distributing the relief materials among the real sufferers of this natural calamity", Vibodh said and added that exgrita relief should be given to the people on priority for construction of their houses and for losses to their crops and animals. They demanded government service for the next kith and kins of those who were killed in different accidents under the provisions of SRO 43. |
