| BJP is not a mother-son or father-son party : Lal singh | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Sept 14: In a bizarre attempt of supporters of Rajinder Singh Bubby (younger brother of Lal Singh) seeking support from newly joined BJP Ex-MP Lal Singh for demanding Kathua assembly mandate of BJP for his younger brother, Lal Singh screamed over the supporters and let them listen this and that.
According to scenario, as per routine Lal Singh has arranged weekly meeting of workers at his residence to listen to the problems of people and to discuss the preparations of coming assembly elections.
During the meeting different when the public representatives were expressing their views, the supporters of Ex-Municipal President Rajinder Singh Bubby, said that Bubby is a famous face and having good position & reputation in public. Hence, they urge Lal Singh to request party high command to give mandate to Rajinder Singh Bubby in the interest of peoples of area.
Lal Singh annoyed with the speakers who were repeatedly asking him to support Bubby said, "BJP is not controlled by any dynasty and it could choose a tea seller with a humble background as its Prime Ministerial candidate because, unlike several other parties, it is not a mother-son or father-son party".
He further added he himself had recently joined party and what impression him would go if he ask the party to give mandate to his brother from Kathua constituency.
"BJP is the only party which represents all strata of the society, not dynasty and moreover there are leaders of BJP which are more efficient than Bubby", Lal Singh added. Giving lesson to supporters of Bubby, Lal Singh said that if he is having very high influence in the public then why you do not organize a massive rally like him and invite some great leader of BJP.
"He himself is struggling for getting mandate from Basohli and is expecting his family to endorse him with unity. No doubt Bubby is his younger brother but there are some people who are trying to create mess in their family and create hurdles in winning Basohli seat", Lal Singh miffed.
Lal Singh made it clear that he is not going to help or recommend for Bubby in way and it would be better that keeping in view the policies of BJP they do work for the party and public. |
