JKOPA holds meet with Ludhiana’s printers team | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 14 : J&K Offset Printers’ Association (JKOPA) today held a meeting with the team of Ludhiana headed by Kamal Chopra, General Secretary at Hotel Jhelum Resorts, Jammu. Pankaj Sethi, President, J&K Offset Printers’ Association (Regd.) welcomed the team who had come to Jammu in connection with Print Yatra to make the Jammu based printers aware of their programme for the development of Printing Industry by way of organizing Interprint Expo at Ludhiana in the month of October, 2014 from 10th-14th. JKOPA members come to know that some vested interest have approached the central government to ban the import of second hand machines, made a suggestion to request the central government not to agree their proposal, since life of imported machine is about 50 years where a India made machine do not run for more than 10 years. Moreover about 90% Indian small printers install the used imported machinery. |
