Jammu, Sept 15: Congress president Sonia Gandhi has constituted Relief Committees for Jammu and Kashmir division. According to press release, General Secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Ambika Soni said, "In view of the devastating floods in J&K which have caused great loss to life, property and infrastructure, the Congress President Sonia Gandhi has expressed her anguish and deep concern again, for those who have suffered in the J&K State.
The Congress President has approved setting up of the Relief Committee for the Jammu and Kashmir State.
Prof. Saifuddin Soz, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mohd. Sharief Niaz, Tara Chand, Taj-Mohi-Ud-Din, Peerzada Mohd. Sayeed, Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Nawang Rigzin Zora, Sham Lal Sharma, Raman Bhalla, Abdul Majid Wani, Manohar Lal Sharma, Ch. Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Vikar Rasool Wani, Madan Lal Sharma, Krishan Kumar Amla, Rigzin Spalbar, Asgar Ali Karbalahi, Ch. Shah Nawaz, Neeraj Kundan, Indu Pawar, Shahmeema Raina, Tamana, Shabir Ahmed Khan, Ashok Sharma, beside others as their members. |
