YNCET celebrates Engineer's day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 15: Yoga Nanda College of Engineering and Technology (YNCET) on Monday celebrated 47th Engineer's day. According to press release, on the occasion various thematic events were organized at its Auditorium. Highest Tributes were paid to the Engineering father of Nation, Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Vivesvaraya on Engineers Day, a notable Indian Engineer, Scholar, Statesman and the Diwan of Mysore during 1912 to 1918 and Chief Architect of the protection of the flood protection system for the city of Nizam (Hyderabad) in Telangana and for the construction of Krishna Raja Sagar dam in Mysore. The Chief Guests of the day was Dr. Seema Narain, Director-YCET, while Er. BR Verma, Dean Academics-YCET was guest of honor. Technical expo of the projects published by Er Dinesh Gupta Assistant Professor, while Er Loveneesh Talwar Assistant Professor Electrical Department presented their Research Papers. Director YCET Dr Seema Narain complimented all engineers, quoting "Albert Einstein quotation" that Engineers are creators and are equipped with the ability to convert dreams into performances and achievements. The engineers, she said are the harbinger of development of any country, always strive for enrichment of their knowledge and skill to upgrade the quality of life and their performance. |
