JKNPP demands relief, ration for flood victims of Khour | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 15: Jammu and Kashmir National Panther Party (JKNPP) has demanded relief and ration for flood victims of Khour. According to press release, district Vice-President Ashok Kumar urged the administration to release first installment of relief in the shape of ration, Blankets, medicines, and fuel so that the victims can make their living. He said that huge loss to the tune of over two crores has been suffered by the victims who should be compensated adequately. He said that children and old people are awaiting medical checkup and aid. He said that the people have lost entire standing crop in the block which should be got assessed on priority and due compensation reimbursed to them. Meanwhile, Nirmal Kishore, Tehsil President JKNPP said that the road at Akalpur (Lower Muthi) is broken and due to new Pully constructed there, traffic movement has come to stand still which causes great hardship to school going children. As such it is demanded that this strip of road and Puly should be immediately set right. |
