Is it personal attack on IGP Security? 9/15/2014 11:50:46 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 15: The attachment of the senior police officer namely Sunil Sharma, IGP Security, has been termed as personal attack on the dignity of the police officer and people of Jammu as well as his attachment is being attributed to government's callous attitude towards its employees. The attachment to PHQ came to fore when he had come to Jammu to attend court hearing in PIL titled Sumit Nayyar and Others v/s State of J&K. If a senior police officer is to be believed, the said police officer had left the valley with proper permission from his higher officers for attending the High Court proceedings. The compliance report was filed on 9.9.2014.The matter was listed on 15.9.2014 and again listed on 22.09.2014. After reporting to the senior officers, the said police officer resumed his normal duty in the valley. The attachment order of the senior police officer gained momentum when all offices including PHQ are drowned ,hampering the work system in Srinagar besides no action was taken against the ministers, bureaucrats who are enjoying holidays in luxurious hotels in Jammu along with their families . The court seeks personal appearance to the said officer following the failure on the part of police to install the CCTV surveillance cameras in the buildings of Jammu and Kashmir High Courts.
