Jammu, Sept 16: Seema Surakhsha Bal (SSB) today celebrated Hindi Diwas with enthusiasm at Frontier Head office, Paloura Camp.
Inspector General (IG), SSB Rakesh Sharma attended the occasion as chief guest while other senior officers of the SSB also joined the celebration of Hindi Diwas.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Sharma, IG, BSF urged upon the officers as well as other participants to feel proud while speaking Hindi language. Chief Gust also presented first, second and third prizes to the participants with certificate of appreciation to others participants.
The HIndui Diwas celebrations were conducted under able guidance of Ajeet Singh Tanwar, Deputy Commandant, State Language Officer, the programme and were started on September 9. Various activities were held as the part of celebrations which concluded on September 15.
Meantime it was informed that for the splendid work in Hindi language in the year 2013-14, Sector Head Office, SSB, Indreshwar Nagar has been adjudged top ranker and was presented with special mementos. |
