DB directs CE PWD to remain present personally PIL over 'up gradation of Court complex' 9/16/2014 10:34:01 PM Jammu, Sept 16 : In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed Bar Association Jammu and Sumit Nayyar seeking various development around Court complex, Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur, directed that connection Chief Engineer, PW(R&B) shall remain present in person on September 22. After hearing Sr. Adv MK Bhardwaj with Adv Ranjit Singh Jamwal, Sr. Adv Sunil Sethi with Adv Veenu Gupta for the PIL whereas Sr. AAG Gagan Basotra and AAG Seema Shekhar appearing for the state whereas Sr. Adv DC Raina with Adv Arun Thakur appearing for the JKPCC, the Division Bench said the suggestion i.e. possibility of constructing a small passage facilitating the entry of two wheelers and three wheelers by a temporary road connecting the main road through Daily Excelsior lane may also be explored and in that connection Chief Engineer, PW(R&B) shall remain present in person on September 22. Earlier Sr AAG Gagan Basotra undertook to file compliance report with regard to various directions issued from March 06, 2014 till date and their implementation.
