UUSF holds meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 16 : United Unemployed and Student Federation (UUSF) today held a meeting under the leadership of Romesh Sharma and discussed the present flood scenario in across state. According to press release, during the meeting Sharma said that everybody knows it that state is prone to natural calamity but the state has not done anything in concern of creating a separate department for Disaster Management and it resulted in heavy loss. The department cannot control the disaster but can save maximum lives, which has lost during this flood calamity. “State government should come forward with a plan to create State Disaster Management Department with commissioner to peon and state level to block level with a powerful district headquarters with a District Disaster Management Office, who is qualified in Disaster Management subject with Science background”, said Sharma. Launching a scathing attack on the Yasin Malik, he said that Malik should be booked for looting the people eatables things and should be sent behind bars for rest of his life. “If Malik wants to help the people, why is he not selling his property to help the Kashmiri people, whom he misused for his own petty interest,” he said. |
