Babus, top cops prefer private transport to escape public ire 9/16/2014 11:35:12 PM Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Sept 16: In an interesting turn of events, top bureaucrats and police officers of J&K, who always used only their official vehicles, are now using private vehicles for transport. This is because anger against the inaction of the government during the devastating floods is mounting among people. By travelling in private vehicles, the officers want to escape attention so that they do not become the target of public ire. Even DIG Central Kashmir Ifad-Ul-Mujtaba was seen moving in a private red Chevrolet Tavera with his guards, and not in his official vehicle. Top bureaucrats are using the same ploy to avoid public backlash.
