Jammu, Sept 17: A Medical camp was organized today by Police Hospital, Jammu at Bhagatpur, Poni Chak under the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana and the people of different villages i.e Bhagatpur, Sandwan, Raipur Jagir and Thub etc gathered in the camp for medical checkup. About 200-300 persons were got checked by the doctors of Police Hospital, Jammu and medicines were also distributed. SP Rural Jammu ML Kaith, SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar, SHO Domana Jai Pal Sharma and In-charge PP Poni Chak Shameem were also present in the camp. Meanwhile, Jammu Police undertook the task of cleaning the School Complex of Govt. High School Sure Chak village and removed the mud accumulated into the class rooms in recent floods. The class rooms were washed and cleaned properly to make them functional. School authorities appreciated the initiative taken by the SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand and SP City South Rahul Mallik. Later, SP City North, Jammu Yugal Manhas, SHO P/S Nowabad Satwinder Singh and Rotary Club, Jammu organised a relief camp at Bhatwati Nagar, Jammu and distributed essential commodities (daily needs kit) to the flood affected families in the relief camp. The items distributed are-bucket, mug, bathing soap, washing soap, tooth brush, tooth paste, towel, biscuit, fruits etc. |
