Human Rights Watch urges masses to help valley's flood victims | | | Jammu, Sept 17: Jammu and Kashmir Human Rights Watch today appealed masses to help valley's flood victims. According to press release, BL Kapoor chairperson of the organization said that the people of J&K are in the grip of disaster and facing much hardship due to national calamity in the state people have been facing with death for life. He said that every citizen should be helping hand for flood victims in Kashmir as well as in Jammu Division, though the government has been taking keen interest and helping its level best for which JKHRW hailed the government, besides this, he said that there is major worry of spreading epidemic in the state as a whole because in case of spreading such diseases it not only adverse affect in Kashmir but it could affect in Jammu division also as the people have no alternative but to reach Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir because of necessities. "People of J&K are time tested people as they as when trapped in to the disaster or other type of difficulties they joined each other and it is well known to all that during the proxy war which has been continued for more than two decades the Jammu people proved themselves as helping hard they helped migrated people from Srinagar and shared there difficulties and worries and faced proxy war jointly", he added. He hoped that at the crucial and disastrous time when people have been becoming victim of deaths due to non availability of food shelter and other necessities needed in day to day life people of the nation where they feed themselves safe would help victims irrespective of caste and creed. |
