Katra, Sept 17: Manav Kalyan Jagriti Munch (MKJM) Katra, today launched a massive drive to restore electricity supply, as hundred of electric lines were damaged due to flash-flood in various areas of district Reasi.
The activist of MKJM under the supervision of munch's president, Karnail Singh, on Wednesday visited village Malad, where electricity supply was disrupted since September 1, 2014.
The activist with the help of connected about 12 lines, which supply was disconnected and lines were not repaired by PDD.Team of MKJM activists, comprising of Pritam Verma, Sanjay Bhat, Kuldeep Singh, Koushal Sharma along with other had resorted the supply in few houses.
Meanwhile, the team also accessing the situation prevailed in various villages.It was also learnt that in Panchayat Sarna, Kanji, Panasa, Soon Karyal and Chadi Muttal residents are still living without roof and government's help. |
