Police Constable injured in accidental fire at Kishtwar 9/18/2014 10:55:20 PM Kishtwar, Sept18: A police constable was injured in an accidental fire during the inspection of service weapons at Shalimar Kishtwar, police sources said here today. Sources said, "injured who received a bullet injury in his right shoulder during accidental firing has been identified namely as Police constable Tilak Raj s/o Krishan Lal of Salana Saroor posted with IRP 13th Battalion in Kishtwar.". According to police sources, a the group of IRP 13th battalion was clearing their weapons at Shalimar Kishtwar and after clearing the weapon, the in charge of the group Head Constable Mohammad Rafiq inspect the AK 47 riffle registered against name of police personal Surjeet Kumar went off accidently and hit on the shoulder of constable Tilak Raj. Hearing gunshot, other police personal present on spot immediately rushed the injured to District Hospital (DH) Kishtwar where doctors declared him out of danger.
