Jammu, Sept 18: In order to provide proper Health & Medical Facilities to the recent flood hit victims, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region organized a free medical checkup camp at village Majheen (Sidhra), Jammu.
About 200 patients were examined by Dr. Rohni Bhan, Medical Officer, Red Cross Dispensary assisted by Sohan Lal, Pharmacist besides 50 free tests of various ailments i.e KFT, LFT, Lipid Profile, Calcium etc. were also conducted by Mahesh, Technician through a Portable Test Lab which is a unique one in the J&K State having the capacity of 29 parameters at a short time presented by M/S Khushi Rehabilitation Centre, Delhi. The Technicians of Red Cross Diagnostic Centre, Surinder Vermani, Sanjay Dhar, and Monica Sharma assisted Mahesh during the tests. The Red Cross also distributed different kind of medicines as prescribed by the Doctor and eatable items to the flood hit victims free of cost. |
