Politicians' corrupt practices responsible for calamity: PAPA 9/18/2014 11:04:18 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 18: People's Action and Public Accountability (PAPA), a non government organization today criticized the state administration and blamed corrupt politician for calamity in Kashmir valley. "Natural calamities were/are in routine everywhere in universe but at the same time ruling regimes use to adopt different needed measures to face. Experts including scientists, geologists & environment care activists of developed countries are working since long to face the expected dangers of related calamities but under developed countries like India no required attention was/is ever given to this important aspect", expressed by Deep Singh. He further said that beautiful J&K state was rich in so many ways like lot of natural resources including different precious herbs, dense forests, attractive mountains, lakes and rivers and all such God gifted treasure was to be protected in a sincere way which was not done by the in visionary and corrupt lot of state rulers during past. Current data in context of forests conditions of state is quite demoralizing and full of worries but nobody in national conference, PDP or congress seems alert. Other parties of state like BJP or NPP are too following the same trend. In short, there is total non seriousness all around including the so-called civil society. Instead of needed protection, incompetent and corrupt political rulers and their bureaucrats avail ever option of destruction while promoting the corrupt agendas in the name of so-called development it added. "No transparency was ever adopted while going for inadequate projects including urban development as everywhere hidden corrupt agenda was taken care of, it added further.
