Congress stole relief material, not I, says traitor Malik
Creating hurdles

Jammu, Sept 18: "Relief boat was theirs, but the relief material it was carrying was mine. They stole my relief material. I didn't hijack their boat. I only used it to distribute relief - food - to the needy flood victims. A misinformation campaign against me has been launched by them. Those criticizing me are mad or sick people. They need medical check up. I am innocent. I am not cruel or crook. They are. Verify facts from the Maisuma police station". Who said it when and where? It was the traitor, killer, insensitive, cruel, mercenary and enemy of humanity self-styled chairman Yasin Malik who shamelessly made these outrageous claims. Malik, who lost his cool, made these false claims during his direct talk with the NewsX anchor on Wednesday between 8 and 8.30 p.m.
And what he meant by they? He meant the Congressmen. What rubbish! The boat belonged to the Army or to the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). There should be no doubt about it. It is also clear that Malik and his gang of goons, thieves, mercenaries and agents of Pakistan hijacked the aid boat. It is also clear that he and his goons told the army that Kashmiris didn't need any help from India. Even those who were known for their very soft attitude towards these so-called freedom fighters vouch for the fact that Malik and his gang of four-five people did create hurdles in the ongoing relief and rescue work in Srinagar.
"In the midst of a natural calamity of a humongous proportion that has affected lakhs of people in Jammu and Kashmir, separatist leaders in the valley have shown their ugly face yet again by leaving no stone unturned in order to create physical hurdles in the ongoing relief and rescue efforts carried out by the armed forces in the state," the sympathizers of Malik said without mincing words. That they charged separatists, including Malik, with hampering relief and rescue work should clinch the whole issue and establish that the charge against him that he played with the lives of the marooned people was genuine.
It bears recalling that on September 13, Yasin Malik and his gang of rogue elements did his best to disrupt the rescue and relief work launched by the Indian Army, under Operation Megh Rahat, for the flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir. Insensitive and unmoved Malik and his gang "forced an ailing lady patient to get off an Army relief boat despite strong criticism of the shocking move by women in the area". And a report from Srinagar said: "Malik told the Army patrol to leave the patients and withdraw from the area.
Also, in spite of unprovoked stone pelting resorted to by a gang of hoodlums, the Army did not open fire in retaliation, preferring to disengage and relocate to a nearby area till the crowd dispersed". The report further said: "When the Army patrol boat returned, the JKLF chief appeared told the boat patrol to get the patients off and leave.
He claimed the Kashmiris do not want the Army rescue efforts to continue. Women in the boat and in the vicinity protested loudly at this insane act by a bunch of goons even as Mir, an aide of Yasin Malik, shouted at the ladies in Kashmiri and forced them to be silent. All this should establish that Malik and his goons committed a grave crime against humanity. It is a matter of concern that the callous and irresponsible Omar Abdullah-led NC-Congress coalition government has not acted as yet against the enemies of humanity and the Indian nation.
