Soz constitutes committee for relief 9/19/2014 10:59:41 PM Srinagar, Sept 19 : Prof. Saifuddin Soz President Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has has constituted a sub committee for providing relief. "Pursuant to the constitution of a Committee for providing of relief and rehabilitation to the sufferers of recent devastating floods in Jammu and Kashmir State, I have constituted a Sub-Committee and authorized it to receive donations from MPs, Ministers, MLAs, MLCs and other cadres of the Congress party and the general public. The Committee comprises of Janak Raj Gupta(ex-MP), Mula Ram ex-Minister, Vinod Sharma-General Secretary PCC, Thakur Shiv Dev Singh (ex-MLA) and Y.V. Sharma. Y.V. Sharma, former President Chamber of Commerce and Industries Jammu has been entrusted the responsibility of Treasurer for the Committee and he will coordinate and make all out efforts in collection of relief. While MPs and Ministers of the Congress Party are requested to immediately contribute one month's Salary to the Relief Fund of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, the . MLAs, MLCs and Cadres of all levels will follow the suit and contribute donations as much as they can. Y.V. Sharma has opened the Account in Jammu and Kashmir Bank Residency Road, Jammu under the account head :J&K PCC Relief Fund A/C No. 0076010100002989). The Committee has also been authorized to accept donations from persons other than Congress party, if any.
