Mendhar, Sept 19 : Several Mendhar villages are still stated to be without electricity and government relief, including ration and tents. "At least 16 families in our village, which is situated close to the Line of Control (LoC), are without tents and other relief items, including ration," said residents of Darati village. According to reports reaching here from other Mendhar areas, three families of Upper Naka Majiari, two of Pharma Nar, three of Harni Gultha, three of Dheri and four of Basuni were without any government relief. "Since they do not tents, they are forced to sleep in the open," the reports added, saying all these villages were also without electricity. PDP district coordinator Zahida Choudhary also toured these areas and met the flood-affected people. |
