JAMMU, Sept 19: Vijay Kumar Bawa has been appointed as state secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). According to party spokesman, president of PDP, Mehbooba Mufti has appointed Bawa as state secretary of the party. A mass base leader, who has a strong following in Samba district especially in Vijaypur assembly segment, Bawa is Sarpanch of Vijaypur area.
Acknowledging his dedication and commitment towards the party, PDP leadership has assigned important responsibility to Bawa. After joining PDP some years back, Baba has been assiduously working to strengthen party in Samba district.
Expressing his gratitude towards party leadership for assigning him such an important responsibility, Bawa assured the PDP leadership that he would work with more dedication to shoulder his new responsibility. |
