Surankote, Sept 20 : Taking a serious note on the failure of administration in restoring the lifeline in Surankote, Youth Congress State president Shahnawaz Choud hary urged the government to restore the disconnected roads in Surankote. He also urged the government to provide the compensation at the earliest to all the flood victims who suffered losses due to the most devastating flood. He also asked the State government to provide the compensation for the farmers, who lost their crops in the recent rain and floods. He said despite rain and floods, having brought havoc, the Government have done nothing except making various visits and assurances, while the people of Surankote constituency continue to be neglected on all fronts. Shahnawaz later talked to the divisional commissioner, Jammu and told him to reconstruct the Dundhak Bridge as soon as possible as a large segment of population is disconnected from the rest of the world due to the great loss caused to this bridge in the flood.
