Sahu reviews assessment of damages due to flash floods 9/20/2014 11:26:25 PM JAMMU, Sept 20 : District Development Commissioner, Jammu Ajeet Kumar Sahu today reviewed the progress on the process of assessment of damages caused to property due to flash floods and landslides in the district during a meeting with all the district officers. The DDC was informed about the detailed reports regarding cases of damaged houses in different tehsils of Jammu district. The DDC directed the officers to take immediate action so that the people do not suffer and ensure compensations are provided in time. The DDC directed the officers to check the authenticity of the case for settling the claims of houses damaged.The DDC was also informed about the progress on distribution of cheques in different tehsils of Jammu district.
