Chairman SLSA visits flood, landslides hit areas 9/21/2014 11:46:24 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Sept 21 : To monitor the situation that has arisen after incessant rainfall in the Udhampur district, Executive Chairman J&K State Legal Services Authority (SLSA), Justice Verinder Singh took stock of the problems in the flood and landslides hit areas of Saddal, Panjar and Kasuri here today. During his tour, Justice Verinder Singh reviewed the damages caused to loss of lives and property in these areas and the actions taken by the District Administration regarding relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the affected families. To help the flood affected victims by ensuring immediate help to flood and landslides affected families through the Government and Administration, Justice Verinder Singh said that State Legal Services Authorities has established a Core group in the district, Chief Judicial Magistrate. Jatinder Singh Jamwal who is also Chairman District Legal Services Authorities, Udhampur as incharge of core group He asked the DDC to expedite the pace of relief, rescue and rehabilitation works in these areas so that affected families will not suffer more.
