Kathua, Sept 22:Nature-Human Centric Peoples Movement (Jammu and Kashmir), carry rally in the city against the UN Climate Submit, which is going to organize in New York in the leadership of UN General Secretary Banki Moon onSeptember 23, 2014.
The dissimilar speakers of the movement while expressing their views during the slogan 'Save Nature-Save Humanity' raised by participants, said that UN general Secretary has invited leaders, government representatives, business experts and civil society to participate in the Submit. The Submit, which going to organize is in the preparation of Legal Binding Agreement of UNFCCC, 2015.
Speakers further added that Legal Binding Agreement has given 'Batter Growth, Better Climate' slogan for this Submit.
"The slogan is very much against the nature and humanity and we strongly condemn it", the speakers said adding that this slogan means to give space to corporate circle for better growth, which means more extraction and harm to nature for more money.
Recalling the Submit total wastage of time and money the speakers said that since 1972, the UNO is working to control climate change and increasing density of green house gases. Despite several seminars, submits and meetings the result is nil.
The speakers said that since its origin, humanity has come across innumerable crisis, however presently human community is facing most serious challenge in existential history. They further said that growth on the base of power, force and finance we could not score nature-human base development model.
"Our alternative to this suicidal system is to establish Nature-Human oriented system based on social based principles", the speakers added. |
