Jammu, Sept 22: Intensifying Assembly poll election campaign, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Classes wing today toured different far flung villages of Jammu district to aware masses about people friendly policies adopted by the party. As per press release, the wing led its vice chairman, Madan Lal Chalotra, toured in different villages including Sughetgarh, RS Pura, Bishnah and Nagrota to take stock of problems being faced by masses.
Speaking on the occasion, Madan Lal Chalotra said that there was a wave among the masses in favour of the PDP candidates who are nominated. He informed that the SC/OBC wing has also decided to frame the committees at the level of blocks in Jammu region with immediate effect as early as possible.
Others who accompanied the Madan Lal Chalotra included Dhain Singh, Satpal Verma, Sham Mehra, Rakesh Verma, Sham Chadgotra, Sarsar Chand, Joginder Thapa and Girdhari Lal Kundal. |
