Rs Pura, Sept 22 : Member Legislative Council (MLC) BR Kundal has expressed-anguish over deaths due to Snakebites in RS Pura.
According to press release, quite a few deaths have taken place and number of deputations during his visits to R.S. Pura resented over non-availability of Anti-Snake Venom in Sub District Hospitals/Primary Health Centre's due to which timely intervention to save human lives couldn't be made.Issue was discussed with Director Health Services, Jammu and Block Medical Officer, RS Pura, who were directed to ensure its availability in all Sub-District Hospitals and Primary Health Center's and also give due publicity at least, for another two months or till the paddy crop is harvested.
Reportedly lot of snakes has come down in plain areas, because of recent floods and are quite poisonous. |
