Jammu, Sept 22: Bharat Bhumi Sewa Dal (BBSD) Surat has criticized the district administration Jammu, for alleged dictatorial approach in distribution of relief material. Addressing media persons, BBSD members said that they had sent relief material including rice, pulses, dry food items for flood affected persons of Jammu and Kashmir. They further said that they sent the material through trains and after the material reached Jammu railway station, their volunteers also reached Jammu and when they asked district administration Jammu for sending the material to Kashmir and various areas of Jammu, so that they would himself distribute the material. "But to our utter surprise district administration as well as divisional commissioner office has been maintaining that the distribution will be only done by administration and not by any other agency, which is a dictatorship", they said. They further appealed state government to direct district administration Jammu to allow them to distribute relief material, instead of distribution by government. |
