AIBCU urges Union Govt, army should distribute relief | | | Jammu, Sept 22: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) today urged upon Union Government that the responsibility of relief distribution should be given to Army. According to press release, chairing a meeting, the president of the Abdul Majid Malik, stressed that Relief Distribution system should in no way go in the hands of the Government in view of the past experiences. He said that the state coalition Government never did justice with the common people and made the state ruling a muscle force ruling by making its own rules and regulations under the Mis-use of Art. 370. "The most genuine demands of different sections of the society like VRS. Jail Wardens Short list cases, 400 ReZs of Jammu Division, Regularization of Daily Wagers, demands of the Government Employees, Pensioners and unemployed trained Dental Surgeons remained unnoticed", he said, adding that the government has turned a deaf ear and the problems remained unheard. "Government is not so serious also in view of the Inaugurations done by the State Chief Minister, a misfit act in the flood hit State but who bothers. This reflects how much Chief Minister is serious for the sufferers", Malik said. It was unanimous appealed to Prime Minister and his ministry to take the full responsibility of the relief distribution through Army and also for making the relief a time-bound process for saving the lives of the people from Starvation and for their earliest rehabilitation.
