Lady runs over by train 9/23/2014 10:58:26 PM Samba, Sept 23: A lady was run over by a moving train near GRP Post Point 79.6 in Samba district here today, police sources said. The deceased has been Identified as Poli Devi w/o Billa Ram r/o Chhanni- Kartholi, Police sources said. According to sources, Poli Devi a house wife who mentally upset and failed to the speed of train passing through the sector at about 10:30am and the speedy DMU ran over. After receiving the information, the police team along with the station head officer and GRP officials immediately rushed to spot at Khainthpur Thundi Khui and took the custody of body besides collecting circumstantial evidences from the spot. Police later shifted the body to the SDH Ramgarh for Post-Mortem and after legal formality handed over the body to her family members.
