MENDHAR, Sept 29: Three employees, all women, of the Health Department were placed under suspension here today for dereliction of duties while five others were chargesheeted. Official sources said Block Medical Officer (BMO), Dr Parvez Ahmad Khan carried out surprise checking of some PHCs (primary health centres) here in the morning and ordered the suspension of three employees who were found absent from their duties. The suspended employees included female multi-purpose health worker (FMPHW), New Sangiot PHC, Salamat Bi, senior pharmacist, sub-centre, Gulta, Gulshan Bali, and FMPHW, Bruti PHC, Tabassum Rani. While Salamat was found absent for the past six days, the other two were not attending their duties for the last two days, the sources informed. Those who were chargesheeted for dereliction of duties included Subash Chander, theatre technician, SDH, Mendhar, Mohasin Ali, theatre technician, SDH, Mendhar, Mohammad Liaqat, laboratory technician, SDH, Mendhar, M Majid, nursing orderly, PHC, Harni, and Ruche Sharma, FMPHW, SDH, Mendhar. The BMO ordered to withhold their salaries with immediate effect. |
