Mehboob holds party workers meet in Bhaderwah , calls for helping flood victims | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Sept 29: Senior People’s Democratic Party leader and contesting candidate of Bhaderwah-Bhalessa Assembly Constituency, Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal has urged upon State Government and district administration to provide relief and compensation to flood-hit victims who lost their life and property due to incessant rains and flash floods across Jammu and Kashmir. Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal was addressing the party workers meeting at Dradu village of Bhaderwah , here today. He made a fervent appeal to the people and party cadre to come forward in a big way and contribute in whatsoever manner they can, so that flood affected people could be provided with adequate help. He said flood affected people are in distress and passing through worst ever crisis adding that this is the time to render help and make sure that their lives are saved in wherever they are stranded or evacuated. Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal , who also visited many affected areas of Bhaderwah -Bhalessa Constituency, asked the administration to start rehabilitation of people on war footing. He said on the directions of the party president, senior party leaders and cadres have already reached out to the people in their respective areas to see their condition and provide relief.PDP activists have been asked to arrange relief and provide immediate help to the flood victims. During the public meeting many people joined PDP. Others who attended the party meet include Thakur Yudvir Singh , Shokat Malik , Mohd Ramzan Batt , Dimple Kotwal , Kewal Krishan , Chaman Gupta , Abdul Hamid Shah , Adress Malik , Ab Hamid Ganai , Dleep Bhagat , Hafeez Wani , Majid Batt , Umar and others. |
