Bhandari flays PDD for 'power cuts' during Navratras 9/30/2014 12:01:08 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Sept 29 : Senior Congress leader and Member Kissan Board Kishtwar, Shamsher Singh Bhandari today expressed his concerns over the frequent power cuts in Kishtwar and lambasted the Power Development Department for continuing with power curtailments during auspicious Navratras Criticizing the state government for remaining least bothered over the sufferings being faced by the frequent and scheduled power curtailments, Bhandari said that the department concerned in order to suppress the pilferage of electricity has been unnecessarily cutting short the power supply in these days of festivity. He urged upon the Minister for Power, J&K Govt. as well as Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar to take serious note over the frequent power shedding more specifically during holy Navratras and other festivals of the communities in Kishtwar by way of directing the concerned authorities to look into the matter on priority basis.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
