Mendhar, Sept 30: Under the chairmanship of the Tehsil President Badar-Ud-Din Rather about four hundred Rehbar-e -Taleem and newly regularized EVs assembled at Dak Banglow Surankote to register their protest against the department of education for not releasing their salaries.
Protesting teachers alleged that they are not being paid their salaries when flood has ravaged the entire state and the festive season is in offing.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Mohd Yousaf Shah said if their pending salaries are not released before Eid they will block the National highway on the day of the festival and sit on pen down strike continuously till their demands are not fulfilled.
He appealed all the Zonal Presidents for co-operation to come forward to lodge their protest in their respective zones.
