| Poonch, Sept 30: Government Degree College Mendhar today organized one day workshop on Biodiversity under the banner of national environment awareness. According to press release, the programme was organized by the departments of Zoology and Botany, under the supervision of Professor Sarshad Hussain and Dr. Mahroof Khan and Professor Shoket Hussain was the convener of workshop. The function was presided over by Principal of the college Professor Shabbir Hussain Shah and participated by Lecturers from Higher secondary schools of Tehsil Mendharviz., Chhatral (Amil Hussain), Boys Mendhar (Attar Pervaiz Khan and Saleem Shah), Mankote (Bashar Ahmed Mir), Gursai Moorie (MohdZubair), Harni (IftakharChoudhary), and Basharat Ali from GDC Poonch and all the students of the college.During the function distribution of certificates among the participants and the students who secured first, second and third position in Painting Competition on Biodiversity. |
